**Q: Will this fit my really old k5 ss lift mixer?  i measured my bowl contents and it only held 4.5 quarts. what a quandry!**
A: My mixer is a 40 year old K5SS and this whip fit perfectly. When measuring the bowl it measured 5 quarts to the rim.

**Q: Will this fit  my old K45 tilt mixer? Bottom of the unit says Hobart (i believe its the old old model)**
A: Hi, not sure. Mine is ancient, I inherited it from my grandmother. It doesn’t tilt, it has the lever the moves the mixer part up and down. It fit my mixer just fine.

A: I'd say no beause it is for the kitchen aid stand mixer. I don't see how they'd be interchangeable.
