Chia pudding can clump together if you're not quick to stir. So I recommend whisking with a fork right after you've poured in the milk, waiting a couple minutes, and then stirring again. I have bought these specifically for sprouting and growing actual chia plants as I make tea out of the leaves. I did get some plants out of them so they had to be atleast be fresh enough to be viable **Q: Is it ok ay to ship these chia seeds in 100 degree weather?** A: Thanks for asking! However, they're not the usual choice for culinary sprouts due to the seeds' tendency to swell and gel when soaked in liquid. We find them much more enjoyable in smoothies, chia pudding, granola, baking recipes, and oatmeal. How do you get rid of them?** A: Chia pudding is certainly full of texture! They little crunchies you get in each bite are from the seed pods that remain intact within the gel that forms when the seed meets water.
