My needs for a deck bag were to have easy access to a Go-Pro camera with hand held float, snacks, water bottle, VHF radio and a small pelican box with keys/cell phone/wallet/backup batteries. Workmanship is excellent. I have soaked this bag in the sea, stripped out the liner and washed/bleached/rinsed/dried it over a dozen times. No seams are fraying, no zippers binding, it looks great. I read some reviews about the stiffener board being hard to install or breaking. I did not have any issues installing the stiffener. My cat even sat on the bag and it held up to her weight. She bent it but I just popped it back in place and it was good to go. I haven't flipped my kayak since I stalled it but it seems relatively water proof. None of my gear has gotten wet so far. I highly recommend this bag.
