When they’re switched off & on they go back to default, kinda annoying** A: Hello! If you go to the pattern you want as your default, click the 3-dot icon in the top right, then click save effect. Any ideas.** A: Will only connect on a 2.4Ghz Network. Not compatible with 5Ghz. I had the same issue. The app is also a bit flaky... I can only connect in guest mode. Despite raising this with their tech support I could not log in. Just have not got around to deleting and reinstalling. A good product that’s lacking in small ways. Most bespoke WiFi devices connect at 2.4ghz App needs revamping and connection issues resolved .once you reach 10-12 plus lights you need additional usb power.. I'm a great fan of 'mood lighting', as opposed to harsh lights, hence the reason I purchased this 3-pack expansion.It wasn't cheap & the units are quite small but I expected this, the measurements are clearly stated in the description.The light emitted is very bright but not severe & the colours are very vivid.The colour transition is pleasingly fluid.I previously purchased the 3-pack starter set & stand so I bought these 3, add-on light units to provide a greater variety of light patterns (please see attached short video to give a basic idea of the many colours & effects available).The app (Life Smart) is simple enough to set up (but, bear in mind, where it states 'not suitable for 5G networks', I believe it really means 5Ghz WiFi, whereas it seems to work fine on a 2.4Ghz WiFi network) there are lots of pre-set colour schemes & patterns.Downsides are:Not cheap (but the effect is worth it!)The units seem to use a fair bit of energy.
