I quickly discovered that 1) they're really bright and 2) they automatically turn on whenever power is applied to its 120v input. Armed with these two discoveries, I chose to connect the lights to a smart plug, which has been programmed to turn on every day at sunset. This has been perfect, as the lights turn on once the outdoor sun is beginning to go down - rather than being on 24/7, even during the daytime. They do create a bit of noise with its fan and motors, but its certainly inline with the noise generated by much more expensive mover lights that I have used in the past.Overall, very bright and reliable mover lights - especially considering they're <$100 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice unit. Responsive and well priced *by J***Y on October 4, 2020* This thing was well built, and works awesomely. The DMX control works well, or you can just let it do its own thing in sound mode. I was impressed that you can control the exact position of each rotating unit precisely when using a DMX controller.
