And it works as expected. Will I use it a lot? I don't think so. It's obviously more fragile - I mean, it's glass. The whole thing is well-designed except for the handle, IMO. It's not only glass but thin glass, and compared to a traditional moka pot that you can let the kids play with, that handle is asking to be broken right off. I know they had to come up with a "cool" handle, but I think this is a design flaw and they should have found a way to use a typical insulated handle on the top. So clean carefully and allow to cool before disassemble as the glass expands at a different rate to the aluminum base., so it sort of binds.
