Review: Works Great, But Be Careful Installing and Heads Up On Sizes - One original battery was the same size as these replacements but the other was smaller-sized and set into a plastic caddy to fit the board housing (see photo). I simply removed and tossed that caddy and put in the replacement batteries. Both fit and worked perfectly and seem to last quite a while given 1800mAh vs the original 570 (smaller battery) and 610 (larger battery). Getting the controllers apart was a bit tricky, so I recommend a plastic tool like a LEGO brick separator or putty knife. A metal screwdriver left minor marks on the front of one of mine. The R and L buttons tend to pop out, so be careful to keep them intact if possible. If yours also come apart such that the circuit "tape" comes out as you can see in my photo, I found it easiest to completely disassemble the buttons, reinsert the tape, then put back in the rubber strip and spring that make the buttons work. The old batteries just unplug and these plug in, so overall the assembly required was pretty simple given decent eyesight and a little manual dexterity. Along with the replacement charging cables, this is a great value in my book. Review: Perfect battery! - The battery works perfectly!! My PS3 controller feels like new again!
