I thought they'd be cheap and only a few might work due to defects, but they all came out operational. Each one was individually packaged in antistatic bags. I've been using them as transceivers, one of which is in a USB dongle running through an Android tablet with an Arduino Nano, and the other end with a barebones ATMega328P. Have not had any difficulties with the chipset so far using libraries already written for the chipset. Failures with packets dropping are a function of obstacles like brick walls and also distance. These particular units work reliably within about 20 feet.
