Short of hard-boiling water, this is the best way to render the water in your canteen, water bottle, camelback sterile. I personally recommend that every pack have a bottle. This pair contains one bottle for purification and another to neutralize the iodine and flavor. I highly recommend these tablets. Furthermore, I strongly recommend that anyone who may eventually use the tablets make sure that they are very familiar with their use and gain some experience.
