Very sharp and comfortable to use with good edge retention. I know you really should not put knives in the dishwasher, but I do not like handwashing knives because it always seems dangerous. I have been using these daily for just over a month. They are still sharp and show no signs of damage from repeated dishwashing. The only negative I have to say is pay no attention to the $250+ list price. No one would actually charge or pay that much for this set.
