I had to jam them on my feet. I looked up other reviews and saw that they loosen up. I succeeded in getting them on my feet finally. I wear a size 9 and bought these in an 8-9. I wore them for a while and then I got busy doing something by the time I sat down again, they had stretched out to fit my foot!!!! It is the strangest thing. My heel wanted to go inside the back band so it wouldn't flip flop. Again after a day or two, I never noticed where my heel ended up. They really seem to take the shape of your foot.I love the looks of the slipper. They are plain yet have a feminine touch ....... I got the charcoal ones with the multi blue band and the two very small flowers on each side.They have heel support and some arch support, enough to make it comfortable all day.
