After 5 months still working. Reason for 2 stars on installation is because Sea Ray has it under the bottom of the engine which is hard to get at.

This is a piece that will eventually fail (mine did after about 15 years, but that's a pretty good run), and such failure can be potentially catastrophic. I test them every once in a while to make sure they are working, and when they fail i replace them immediately. It's nice to be able to replace the old one with the exact same model because all of the mounting points and wires are exactly the same.
