Review: This is the one you're looking for - As an American Legion, we're starting a farmer's market this summer and need a decent scale. I purchased this one because it said it is NPES certified, but I didn't see much in the reviews confirming that. I hesitantly ordered it anyways. First off, the scale arrived in two days double boxed with no damages. Then I called the state department of weights and measures and scheduled an appointment to get it certified. They asked me for the CS code and confirmed that the make and model is compliant with the State Department of Weights and Measures. I just met the inspector today and he certified it. He told me that it is fairly uncommon for a 60lb scale to be so accurate from a factory calibration. In fact, he said a 60lb scale has a tolerance of four fraction points, but this one was within one fraction point. (60.01 with 60 lbs of certified weights)... Needless to say, I was very happy that I didn't have to have a professional calibration performed or have to attempt to do it myself. I've tested it on some miscellaneous items and the price functions are very easy to use. I will also say that I had the foresight to plug it in 24 hours prior to inspection. The internal battery was completely depleted on arrival, but fully charged and ready to operate by the time of inspection. So YES! buy this scale if you need to have it inspected or certified. ... I'll update this 5 Star review if I find that the operation and/or experience of this scale is anything less than exemplary.

Scale is not accurate at all. Would not pass weights and measure certifications pound was 2lb off and kilograms was weighing in pounds. Contacted company and no response. Second on in three years we have had problems with. Do not buy.
