You must insert the pins into the boards and solder them in place. I purchased the ktag adapter kit with 22 pieces. If you plan on purchasing the KTag clone reader, I would think twice. Parts cheap and missing ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works "mostly" just as it should. *by D***M on January 16, 2021* Assembly directions weren't the greatest but then again, I didn't really expect directions at all. Other than that my only complain is the lock screws would not thread in either side. I am not too worried about this as I can re-tap the acrylic if I need to but the tension on the rods is sufficient and I don't see using it frequently enough for that to ever be an issue.
