    Very Useful Device

I wasn't sure about this mount at first but it's quite a cute design. The main piece is a rubbery plastic that will bend and mold to your bike and flashlight. The two Velcro straps work nicely but might be a little annoying to thread through the slots if you pull them all the way off. With a nice flashlight you can easily see at night without it bouncing around too much. You can also tweak the direction a but just by pushing it, in case it starts to drift off while you ride. The main benefits to something like this are that you don't have to pay ridiculous prices for a high powered bike headlight and, when you stop somewhere, just pull one strap and you've got your flashlight back. It's not perfect. It does not have a really tight grip on the light, but it's firm enough to work. I wouldn't take this on a really bumpy road. I'd give 5 stars if there were a way to get it down tighter, but that would probably cut into easy-to-remove factor. If you bike mostly on streets, you shouldn't have a problem.

    Works great for my needs

*by M***5 on Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2014*

It is starting to get too hot in the afternoons in the southwest to ride after work. I needed to move my riding later in the evening once the sun is close to going down. I have the Topeak RedLite II Tail Light for my bike. I had an UltraFire CREE XML T6 LED Flashlight 5 Mode Zoomable Torch I order from Amazon for $6 I wanted to use as an headlight. I figured I would give this a try for the price for the Velcro strap holder. I was really pleased how well this simple design worked securing my LED flashlight steady on my handle bar on my bike. The flashlight did not flop or shift once I Velcro'd everything in. It did not move when I needed to press a button on the flashlight to a different mode. It was still loose enough for me to adjust the flashlight up/down for better road coverage. The only thing this light does not have is left/right adjustments. Since my handle bars have a slight curve, I had to place the light near my hand grips where the bar is mostly straight. I haven't tried to mount this to my helmet (might give it a try). It is small enough to leave on 24/7 when not in use during the day. I'm glad I took a chance and order two of these to use for the wife's bike also.

It is okay with some limitations

For what it is, it is a good product. However, for me there were a couple of problems in the design that I couldn't live with.First, it is well built and I think it will last if the design works for you--I have no problem with the quality. My problem is in the design.(I suppose I should have done more research or tried to find someone who had one before I bought it.)Problem #1: It is not as adjustable as I wanted. Since it is essentially 2 velcro straps that run perpendicular to each other you get one direction--90 degrees straight ahead from the handlebar. If your handlebar sweeps back a bit from the stem you will be shining your light off to the side. You can move it vertically but not horizontally.Problem #2: The flashlight I wanted to mount is a little on the large size and I didn't feel like the straps ever got tight enough to keep it from creeping out of position. I suppose a strip of rubber could have increased the friction enough to prevent aim-creep but since I was not going to stick with it I didn't invest any time in improving its functionality. For many folks it will be fine--if the design fits your requirements it will be a solid performer--for me it just didn't do what I wanted.
