I place my hand as if I were cutting and open the blades. Then insert the blades in the slots. Then blades will be open. Now draw back and push together with some pressure. The blades will draw against the whettting rod. Repeat this process maybe 10 times. That’s how I do it. It has worked very well for me on scissors which are used constantly. **Q: Do you sell left handed sizzor sharpeners?** A: I've used it left handed and right handed **Q: Curved scissors sharpener** A: Not that impressed. My scissors are not showing any remarkable difference in sharpness. **Q: The description says it's for sharpening Fiskar scissors. How is it for sharpening other brand scissors?** A: It will sharpen any scissors that fit. Which is most of them. They’d have to be a Ceremonial ribbon cutting scissors to not fit.. lol ## Frequently Bought Together - Fiskars Clip-Sharp Scissors Sharpener, Total Length: 4 cm, plastic, 1000812 - Fiskars 8” Original Orange-Handled Stainless Steel Scissors, Ergonomic and Keeps Material Flat, Sharp All-Purpose Paper and Fabric Scissors for Office, Arts, and Crafts - FISKARS MFG CORP Fiskars Sewsharp Sharpener-Orange Art Craft --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ae/products/1574655-clip-sharp-scissors-sharpener-total-length-4-cm-plastic-1000812](https://www.desertcart.ae/products/1574655-clip-sharp-scissors-sharpener-total-length-4-cm-plastic-1000812) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Arab Emirates* *Store origin: AE* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
