That molded grip, tho. *by A***N on August 3, 2018* Almost perfect for me.The buttons on this pad have a nice positive feedback when pressed and all four face buttons are consistent in that aspect. D-pad is acceptable, if a bit squishy or soft. On this unit, it is not perfect, but it is good, fully functional and still manages to give some response, although I would have preferred more "clickiness", but, the D-pad is not a crucial point for me, though, if you are into retro games and that, I've felt better, and this is a run on sentence.Shoulder buttons are fine. I mean, they are small, and it's obvious. Again, nice feedback from the L's and R's when engaged, and, though the Z's are analog in mechanics, I'm pretty sure they are linear in activation, since Switch does not support analog triggers, if I'm not mistaken.Now to the controller's thumb sticks, which feature concave grips with diamond textured, rubbery rims and a loud enough click when depressed. Seriously, it's loud enough. I've covered mine with custom knobs (no they are not KF), as without, they feel a bit plastic and not rubbery enough. To their credit, I do prefer concave grips from the factory and, hey, they aren't slippery. That's good. The thumb sticks' action felt a tad on tight side of things, or heavy or slow. Whichever descriptor you prefer, I personally favored the feel of these thumb sticks.All the other buttons are there and they work, too. Oh, and turbo is nice. I like the clear windowed button that says "TURBO". Although, I would have preferred the +\- and home/capture buttons' placement be reversed, but I'm not demeriting the game pad for that. Moving on.Now, to my biggest gripe: The grip, or grips, actually. Well, no, I was right the first time, since it's just the left grip. Although my complaint applies equally to both. Oh, whatever, point is it's molded like finger grips and my hands are too small and it's been designed by someone who wants to make my pinkies sore!! Blimey.I will say, though, that I do like using and would recommend this controller. ~$29. IT"S NICE. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very decent controller *by A***R on July 31, 2018* A great inexpensive, zero compromise alternative to the pro controller. The only thing lacking is NFC, which for someone who isn't using Amibos isn't an issue.Pros:-Motion controls seem spot on and responsive-Has rumble, which even in a non-switch based controller clone, is rare at this price range-Also has a turbo featureCons:- The button placement for the home, screenshot, start/+ and select/- buttons. In my opinion they should have been swapped. As it is now it's hard to feel the location for pausing games or getting to the - button.-One big gripe is with the grip contours on the handles. They don't line up with my hand, or probably many other people's hands and makes it slightly uncomfortable to hold.-The dead zone on the joystick seems a tad too large.Things to note:-READ the instructions, since it is quite annoying to pair if you don't read them, but that seems more like a Nintendo issue than this controller's fault since my 8bitdos are just as frustrating to pair with the switch.-This is ever so slightly bigger than the Pro Controller, like maybe half an inch bigger.Conclusion:I say buy, the buttons are decent and large, it is a good imitation and is half the price of the real pro controller and doesn't feel worse for it. The face buttons are a tad too big and spread out, but that's also an issue on the actual pro-controller as well. As facsimiles go, this is a darn good one. As prices go, this is also a darn good price. If you don't need NFC, then this is a great one to go for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works partially (Windows PC) *by S***. on September 4, 2018* I bought this primarily to use with a Windows PC, and it works great over USB, but I still haven't been able to get it to function properly over Bluetooth. Over USB, it shows up as an XBOX 360 controller, and I can test most of the buttons and joysticks in the built-in game controller utility. Over Bluetooth, I found out how to get it paired, and I see a 'Pro Controller' device in device manager, but it doesn't show up as a game controller, and I was not able to use any of the common solutions I found online.
