Thanks **Q: will this work on a 5 gallon paint bucket?** A: The radius of the 5 gallon Barrel is smaller as u know, but there is enough length on the brass to double up on the bushing or even a little silicone caulking might make the seal for you. **Q: can this be used on a water bucket for a horse** A: i used on a raid barrel ... not sure any different from a bucket ... not sure what a horse has to do with it ? **Q: Is it Lead Free?** A: No lead involved. It's just machined brass and a rubber washer. The washer might be plastic. I found this part to be superbly well made and easy to install.
