**Q: Could a launchpad be used as a basic midi drum pad in logic? I have Ableton but would be nice to use for basic functions on logic too.**
A: It can be programmed to emmitt any CC, PC and MIDI music note. The Mini lacks velocity control so this is littetally a macro board! Spend the extra for Launchpad x

**Q: Looking to buy for my 15 yo.  can you tell what computer system i need that will support it.  do i need anything else other than a pc/ or apple.**
A: Works with either PC or Apple. Very fun device. Your kid will love it.

If you're looking to send computer keyboard commands from the pasd of the Launchpad Mini MK3 you can make use of the latest firmware version which adds the ability to send keyboard commands from pads in a Custom Mode.

**Q: Is it Compatible  with an hp laptop?**
A: Yes, the launchpad pro is a class-compliant device. As long as your laptop is running Windows and is capable of running most modern Digital Audio Workstations then the Launchpad Pro will be able to run on your system.
