It appears that there were some of these manufactured back in the 2012/2013 time frame that had some issues with high readings, but I have not experienced this anomaly in over three years of regular use. I have compared readings with the TriField and Acoustimeter RF meters and find that the readings on all three meters are very close. The advantage of the Tenmars, however, is that it is omnidirectioal, unlike the Acoustimeter, and it has a range up to 8 GHz, unlike the TriField. Left charging for 24-hours.
