A misty will let you stamp and restamp in the same position because you have a swing door that you mount the stamps on and magnet to hold down the paper. This is simply like an acrylic block but for bigger cling stamps. **Q: Do you press the stamps in the ink pad before applying them onthe stamp press or do you need a large ink pad?** A: put the stamp on the stamp press-- then ink it from ink pad--wouldn't be able to get stamp on press if it was already inked? there is a good video on youtube on how to use the press. **Q: why does it say it requires a battery?** A: It doesn't require a battery....just hand pressure. Be aware that this thing only works on clear stamps. I got rid of mine and bought a Tim Holtz stamping platform. **Q: Where can you get new feet? one of mine fell off and i don't know where i lost it. thanks** A: When I first came upon this product, my research discovered that this was a common problem. Don't know where you can find replacement feet.
