Ours fits inside the end of the mixer arm (it can be an external thread) and took quite a bit of plumbers tape around the thread in order to make it a watertight joint. Very good design and easy to install. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good aerator *by D***D on 7 February 2022* Chose this after reading a review of a different product and this one was mentioned as better. Nice and sturdy, initially a bit fiddly to attach, due to quite a short thread depth, but once attached, it works really well and there absolutely are no leaks. Easy to tighten due to the textured ring. No apparent drop in water pressure either, as some mentioned. I also found it easy to change between the 2 settings, even with wet hands. The only slight gripe is that, as other reviewers noted, there is a gap between the top of the aerator and the tap, due to a short thread depth.
