It has a lot of cool things on it and for the price I think everyone should have one to be honest. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Useful for Limited Purpose *by D***N on June 23, 2025* Why did you pick this product vs others?: I read the reviews of a number of these types of tools (there are three or four or more brands), and it's hard to really know which one is 'best'. The RoverTac does seem to have a fair number of good reviews both on Amazon and on the internet. That said, I think you need to know what you are buying this for. Some do not see the practical benefit of such a small axe, but I think it can have some value if you understand its limits. I briefly tried out the axe and saw on a small tree limb. It is not designed for a full tree, even a small one, unless you have a lot of time to hack away. I got this thinking I could possibly carry it when I go hunting. It would be a good tool to quickly remove a branch or two around my blind. I think that the axe could be sharper, but that can be remedied at home. The tools do not 'lock', so be careful! I think it could be useful in batoning wood/ kindling for a camp fire. Many test knives to see how well they do on this, but personally I don't think a knife needs to be used this way, unless you have no other options. This tool, with the hammer on the opposite side of the axe, would allow you to baton wood without adding extra wear and tear to a knife by using the striking wood on the hammer side. I like the sheath - it's sturdy. The tool, overall, seems well made, but again, this would not be something I would necessarily depend on for heavy work every day. The metal on the handle does seem a bit thin. It's a good emergency/survival tool for limited tasks. Because the handle also incorporates the tools you will want to use a glove if you are going to use this for any length of time.
