I gave it 4 stars simply because this was only agreed upon by Alice due to a contract requirement. He was very tired and wore out from alcohol abuse and this was released prior to "From The Inside" when he got dried out for the first time. It isn't my favorite, but every true fan of Alice Cooper should own a copy. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Come watch me bleed... *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2011* Alice really wasn't at the top of his game when his first live release hit the Christmas shelves in late 1977 and `The Alice Cooper Show' has a `going through the motions' sort of feel, so it sort of shows. What may have been an ingenious idea three or four years previous was now seen as a stop gap as the singer was about to enter into rehab. Classic hit run throughs include "Eighteen", "Billion Dollar Babies", "School's Out" and "Under My Wheels". The Coop also trots his three Manilow specials so give him credit for diversifying his live portfolio but what may have been exciting to see in person, comes off flat live. The sound quality is also very poor so maybe `The AC Show' would be ripe for a remaster soon which might help the overall enjoyment of these proceedings. For me the two medleys are the most entertaining parts of the record; "I Love the Dead/Go to Hell/Wish You Were Here" and "Devil's Food/The Black Widow" (love the Vincent Price commentary!) Overall, this live record is not essential as I am sure Alice has later ones that are much more satisfactory. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the best least talked about live rock record in history. *by T***3 on Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2015* I used to listen to this constantly as a kid and thirty years later it still sounds amazing. The song selection is amazing, go figure. The band is amazing and having seen Alice live I can say it very much captures the dynamics of his live show. The bass is drilling in the mix and everything is tight. One of the best least talked about live rock record in history.
