I know it days says max 48" but why not a larger tv** A: I’m using it on a 32 inch monitor. I don’t think weight is the concern the motor is pretty strong but mounting points are pretty close together so balance may be a concern. Also length of travel may not allow for the full range to lift a larger tv from hidden to displayed. **Q: I have a 43" diagonal (24" height) tv. at the lowest position, how high off the ground will the bottom of the tv be?** A: It depends on how you mount it, there are several ways to adjust it for both low height or high height. I used it to build a hide-a-desk with a 32 inch monitor. The monitor is 17.5 inches tall, at the lowered position it is 19.5 inches from the floor of the cabinet, the raised height I have it set to is 40 inches from the bottom of the cabinet. **Q: Does 4” profile mean this will put the back of the Tv 4” from the wall?** A: Approximately, yes.
