**Q: Can this probe be set to trigger an alarm when the fluid level reaches a set hight via nc or no contacts?**

**Q: How long is the wire? Need to make sure it is away from the water before extending. Will be used in sea water. Thanks**
A: The cheaper switches have a short lead (30cm).   I needed to pay over £20 for one with a 1m lead

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Floatswitch for Pond

I got this floatswitch to monitor the water level in my fish pond. When my box filter clogs up the pond water from the filter pump overflows into the garden instead of being returned to the pond, resulting in the pond being emptied if I'm not around. Now when the pond water level drops by 70mm, the electricity to the filter pump is disconnected thereby saving a disaster.
