We are pleased to offer our own custom branded pots manufactured by CTS to our specifications. These are identical in construction to CTS high quality 450G series pots, but with a slightly higher resistance level specified at 525K. This means no exceptionally low or high resistance pots that can be found when using typical 20% tolerance 500K pots. At 5 percent tolerance all pots are guaranteed to measure between 500K to 550K resistance. The only thing that might make these pots better is if they came with bacon. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS - 525K Ohms/5% Tolerance (Value can range from 500K to 525K) Audio Taper Bakelite base plate Solid brass c-clip reinforced shaft Solid brass bushing 3/8-32 US thread 3/4" (long shaft) bushing height Split, fine 24-tooth knurled shaft 1/4" diameter shaft Each pot comes with hardware - two nuts, dress washer and lock washer Requires 3/8 inch diameter ing hole. Pot is manufactured and branded by CTS specifically for The Art Of Tone (TAOT), Part # 450S525KXL TAOT. SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER: 1. If you are uncertain whether your guitar uses short (3/8 inch) or long (3/4 inch) shaft pots, as a general rule this pot will fit most USA-made Gibson Les Pauls manufactured after 1977 excluding historic reissues, but please double check before you order. 2. Make sure to pinch the tip of the shaft before you try fitting a knob, this will avoid getting knobs stuck before you install the pot. If you've ever had that happen... 3. If you have an import guitar it is probably using metric sized components and these pots cannot be used without modifying the openings on your guitar.
