These made stretching and tightening the sunshades an ease. On the end of one of my shades I have a cable ran 15 feet connecting to the house. And that tensioner was a savvier !! So when the wind blows I don’t have to worry about the sun shades flapping around and tearing up. This kit is almost a must have to hang a sail awning. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It worked great, but I'm concerned about long term durability *by N***N on June 8, 2020* The kit is listed at a great price for what you get. The eye brackets feel strong and I'm confident those will hold up nicely. The turnbuckles are nice, and unlike other reviews, I did not need to add any lube or anti-seize material. I do have two suggestions for improvement: stronger carabiners and longer screws. The use of turnbuckles assumes there will be a significant amount of force placed onto the mounting brackets; I don't know if 1" screws will be OK in the long run, but I guess they are usable for a 2x4 mounting post. I would use 2 1/2" screws minimum. The carabiner clips are also pretty thin and don't leave me with a lot of confidence.
