Yes it has an additional phono input for phone or iPad so you can use that along with your Mac. **Q: Can you connect external turntables to this?** A: You can only connect one external line in sound unit. This can be a CDJ for example but not a vinyl deck as they are analog/phono. The external line in shares the 4th fader with Traktor software, so you can switch between them, effectively making it a 5 deck mixer. **Q: Will my laptop be able to run the software, i've amd athlon 300u processor?** A: You would have to check this information on manufacturer's website on the Specifications tab. **Q: Can I run traktor vynl software and connect turntables** A: Having checked their site, i think vinyl turntables may require a different input, but there'll likely be a way around that. I think theyre cdj compatable, and obviously mp3. The key attraction for me was mic input (dynamic) and brand quality. The latest traktor software is included, roughly £100 standalone. This is compatable with windows or ipad.
