It's sweetened with Stevia instead of table sugar or any kind of corn syrup. While I am not a huge fan of stevia as a stand-alone sweetener (like for coffee or tea), it works very well in the Lily's dark chocolate baking chips. My husband, who doesn't like the taste of stevia at all, and who is not a fan of alternative sweeteners in general, gives a two-thumbs up for these baking chips! I use these for making an alternative form of peanut butter cups. I melt the Lily's and spoon a little into the mini silicon molds (the ones about the size of a Reese's cup). I add some Teddy's peanut butter (peanuts only, no other ingredients) and then top it with another thin layer of the melted Lily's chocolate. I pop them into the freezer and then take one out a minute or two before I want to eat it. A great treat without all the added sugar!
