All pieces are the same size, and it comes in a box that is deceivingly small. I mean, seriously....SMALL. But it bolts up nice, although the seems do not align perfectly. Mine had a simple flaw, one bolt wasn't shaped perfectly at the head...but no big loss, I could still get it tight. The first fire popped that in place too.Now it is buried, even with the ground at the top. I want to put a nice stone feature around the rim, but that is for future ideas. We are not there yet.Oh, and to the person who begged for locking nuts...think about this for a second. You need a bolt, nut, two washers and a locking washer AT MOST, in this case you get a bolt, nut and locking washer....this is fine since the steel is thick and will not pull through. But a locking nut has Teflon or a plastic material in it to lock the nut in place so it does not spin loose. This would be bad, since repeated heat will cause the nuts and bolts to change shape a bit and the nuts might need tightened again.....oh wait...I mentioned heat...wouldn't that melt the plastic/Teflon material that is holding the nut in place in the first place? Yes....yes it would. What I like about this is certainly the "heavy" duty construction....but also like it because it is NOT round. It just looks more unique and adds a simple yet interesting shape to your outdoor area. I can't wait to finish landscaping around it...sadly....there is not enough time in the day to do everything I want to do, but i will keep at it until i am done.
