Interestingly I have them in windows in pairs and at one point the patterns synched briefly (so the pattern isn't truly random). Interested to see how they stand up. (I had to fiddle a little with the sockets on my cheap window candles to get a solid connection.)

A: I was worried about this exact same thing. I use a EufyHome device. It comes on at night and has not changed and stays the same. However, if the bulb’s power get triggered of and on in a matter of seconds it will change the mode.

These light bulbs look great. The color and effect create a warm, romantic atmosphere—perfect for dining rooms or outdoor lighting. Brightness: You’re not buying these for high lumens. They’re bright enough for a dining room but not suitable for tasks like reading. Longevity: Still unknown. If they fail within a year, I’ll update this review. No update means they’re still working, so you can judge longevity from the review date. Installation: It’s a light bulb—just screw it in. Why 4 stars: I wish the flame effect were slower. As it is, the rapid flickering can be a bit distracting. Extra feature: Cycling the power changes the mode: flame effect, blinking effect, or steady always-on mode.
