Do I puncture the rice paper beneath the turn top, or does the turn top come off to allow me to remove the rice paper?** A: I struggled with this and even returned a bottle because I thought it was defective. On the second bottle I had the same issue so I resolved to just stick a pin through the holes to puncture what I assumed was "rice paper". It wasn't, there was a clear plastic film on top that I previously could not see at all. I looked really hard and never saw it! Anyways remove that film and twist the cap and it comes out. No you do not have to pop the lid off. What I thought was rice paper below was just the powder sticking to the film. Hope this helps! **Q: Is this product 100% authentic?** A: Yes this is 100% authentic. Highly recommend **Q: My product has no scent and feels more like a wet scrub than a paste. Am I adding too much water or is something wrong with the product I received?** A: Sounds like too much water. Just a drop or so goes a very long way. I usually cleanse my face with my wash and while the wash/cleanser is still on and my face is wet THEN apply some scrub (no water needed until time to rinse off). We carry this line at a spa that I work at, and the "aesties" swear by it. If you're adding water to use the scrub itself just a few drops will do. And yes it becomes a paste like texture. A CLEAN SMOOTH FACE...NATURALLY, NO ACIDS OR CHEMICALS. *by R***J on February 10, 2017* Wow is all I can say about this product. It is gentle but effective. ALL NATURAL NO CHEMICALS OR ACIDS! Cleanse as usual with whatever cleanser you chose, then use this product and when you rinse your face, you can instantly feel it has been exfoliated. Small little bumps in the pores slowly go away leaving my face super smooth like I had a peel...I'm outside a lot and between dirt and sweat my pores tend to clog easily. My dermatologist gave me a sample of this before I left her office after receiving an IPL treatment. She suggested waiting a couple of weeks for the IPL to do it's thing and let my skin rest. After 2 weeks, I could feel little bumps of clogging pores again so I tried the product. Simply amazing! And one bottle of this will undoubtedly last months as you use about the size of a dime in the palm of your had, add a bit of water to turn it into a paste and apply to the face (not under eyes) and it gently but effectively defoliates dead skin cells. After cleansing and defoliating, I use a vitamin C serum all over my face; after that has soaked in I apply my favorite daily moisturizer. If I don't do this routine the defoliant tends to "strip" the natural oils from my skin (I have very dry skin and live in an area where there is virtually zero humidity).
