**Q: For what ages this desk?**
A: I would say for young children,  like 5 and under. I bought it for my 2 year old nephew and it was a good size for him. It's actually a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be.

**Q: Should there be holes where the drawing surface/lid is supposed to be screwed in? I just received the desk and I don't see any holes in that area.**
A: Yes.  There is a hinge that bolts through to the ugly side at the top.  I will add a picture for you to my review (no place to add a picture here)

**Q: Can you open  the top for storage?  I bought an old one at a garage sale and it opens up and I love that option.**
A: Yes!!  Under the dry erase board is storage!

**Q: What is the actual work surface dimensions?**
A: A little over 12x12 ... plenty of room for a toddler :-)
