I have purchased it twice. The first delivery arrived as cans in a box without any padding whatsoever. Although the product remained sealed despite dints, but that was lucky. The second delivery arrived with minimal padding that allowed the product to bang around in the box. Same problem appeared including rim damage. I'm hoping that this will not compromise the product as it is stored until use. Clearly this heavy product in cans requires sufficient padding for shipment. The consistency of the 2-part epoxy was very difficult to mix and spread, but I couldn't be happier with the results. First I ground out the cracks with a masonry grinding blade and cleaned them out. Then I mixed and spread the epoxy into the cracks. I probably could have scraped as much of the excess off but I didn't know if it would shrink and need another layer. It didn't shrink and I definitely wish I would have scraped the excess off before drying. After 48 hours it was hard enough to grind flat. I used a 4-1/2" double row diamond grinding wheel. There'll be about 12 lbs of pressure on it, and between 120-180 degrees F. Will this work?** A: I have used this on the inside of pool pump housing that are made of fiberglass and it sealed the tiny crack perfectly and has held for almost two years now. Not sure if I would use it if any of that water is going to consumed by human or animals. Your sealing the outside of a tank, so rough it up good to give it something to hold onto and it should be fine.. **Q: Can you paint over before it's fully cured?** A: You can paint over most everything but will the paint stay is the true question. I would not try painting over the Epoxy until fully cured and lightly sanded. Sanding give it a slight rough texture for the paint to stick to. Epoxy putty cures in 24 hr. **Q: Can this be used to adhere mosaics?** A: PC-7 Epoxy works on many different substrates, including glass and ceramics. Depending on how you do your mosaics it should work great, the only problem might be the thickness of the epoxy paste. The largest spot was 9 inches long and about 3/4 inch in the deepest spot. The mixture is very thick and it doesn't spread the easiest so application will be very rough. As the application was fairly thick it took 48 hours to cure, and I was able to sand the filler down that next weekend.
