**Q: Which kind of weight plates and collars works with this machine?**
A: It uses a 1" bar, so you can use either standard or olympic plates.  I use the standard size, squeeze type collars on this machine. You can find those on Amazon. If you use olympic plates, you may still want to use a standard plate (large enough to cover the hole of the olympic plate) outside of olympic plates to help lock them in place. The range of motion of the plates is probably not more than 12" or so, so they don't move that far, but better safe than sorry. Hope that helps.

**Q: Is there a specific Olympic weight adapter to buy for this machine?**
A: If you have "standard plates" you won't need an adapter but if you're using "Olympic plates" you'll need 2 adaptive collars.

**Q: What's the max weight that i can put on this machine?**
A: Per the manufacturer Body-Solid the Powerline PSC43X Seated Calf Machine will handle up to 200 pounds of weight on the plate posts. The user weight capacity (weight of person exercising) is 300 pounds.

**Q: Can you do glute kickbacks on this?**
A: This machine is specifically made for seated calf raises only.
