Review: Okay, but died 8 months later. Cheaply made. Get what you pay for - It’s a nice little purchase to get a starter and feel for gaming on PC. I bought for my son and wanted to see how he got on before upgrading to a better mouse later. You get what you pay for, sensor isn’t great, and it has died now just under 8 months of having it. So like I said, for the price it’s okay but I would not recommend fully. Good for starter but you will want an upgrade.

**Q: Are the buttons silent when clicked please?**
A: No, the clicks are not silent on this mouse. It was the main reason for me returning it.

**Q: anyone know why it has become inverted all of a sudden? Worked fine for 2 months then just ranfomly started that. Inverted settings are off for games.**
A: 3 months old and X/Y inverted? Tested on anther computer ands it’s definitely the mouse.

**Q: Is it possible to turn the lights off using the buttons on the mouse?**
A: Yes - found it by accident! The 2 small buttons on the top below the wheel. The one closest to the wheel cycles through the different flashing colours, the bottom one cycles through the flashing and rainbow effects. A few quick clicks on the bottom one and you'll reach the lights off mode (well, apart from a very faint red which I assume is the light sensor on the bottom coming through). Adjust the sensitivity through your windows control panel - even on setting 1 (the lowest) it's still faster than my laptop trackpad, but I prefer it that way!

**Q: Can this be used for normal work at a PC? Or is it purely a gaming mouse?**
A: I use it at work. As long as your workplace is ok with your mouse glowing rainbow colours all day!

It’s a nice little purchase to get a starter and feel for gaming on PC. I bought for my son and wanted to see how he got on before upgrading to a better mouse later. You get what you pay for, sensor isn’t great, and it has died now just under 8 months of having it. So like I said, for the price it’s okay but I would not recommend fully. Good for starter but you will want an upgrade.

This 'Lycander Gaming Mouse' is no different to your average budget gaming mouse from an obscure brand. Works straight out of the box, no software available. Unfortunately, I had to return mine because when I held the main body of the mouse (where your palm is) it a bit too tight to drag click, the mouse 'clicking' area, which was connected to the main body of the mouse, would sort of be pressed down until I stopped holding the mouse a bit too tight. Other than that, it would be fine for your average gamer. Lights are decently bright, the braided cable is a nice bonus at this price.
