Review: Pleasantly surprised! - I needed something to grind nuts with and after reading 100s of posts about power etc I was worried about whether this would manage. But I have been pleasantly surprised. Not only does it work incredibly well, its easy to clean and looks good! Both the blender and mini grinder works for grinding nuts and the mini grater is great for small amounts such as carrot for a salad or coleslaw. I am very impressed with the product Review: New design puts appearance before function - not an improvement - I had a Moulinex liquidiser/grinder for over 30 years and decided to replace it when the liquidiser goblet fell apart. The old model had a smooth design (see second photo) but the new one is all angles and nooks and crannies. It does the job of grinding and liquidising. BUT (1) the switch is too easily moved so it invariably goes to "on" when you lift it out of the cupboard and gives you a surprise when you plug it in. (2)The grinder has a surround with narrow channels that are difficult to clean. (3)The lid of the grinder needs careful alignment to put on whereas the older model had a tapered design that made it easy. We found this 500W replacement with an additional chopper at a very good price and marked as "good as new".
