- EASY INSTALLATION: You can stick the door open switch on the surface directly by the double sided adhesive tape or screw it in surface with the clips including. The input and output connector is 5.5X2.1 universal female and male connector. MAKE SURE your power adapter and LED lights connected are with the same type of connectors to be matched.
- VERY LITTLE POWER CONSUMPTION: This sensor consumes very little power, less than 1W, since it’s basically a switch that works photo electrically by sensing movement of opening and closing doors. When doors are closed it consumes none.

    Works great, soft on/off, small size, but requires adaptor to connect in series.

Both input and output wires end with female connectors so the sensor requires an adaptor (not included) to connect in series.Update after several months: Decided to keep the sensor and purchased an adaptor to connect it in series. The sensor is working well with under cabinet lights total pass-through power ~20W! I like the soft on/off ramp feature. Because it is working better than expected (ramp feature, high power), I’m increasing my rating to 4 stars. Also because the seller pleaded for it and offered an adaptor - unfortunately only after several months.
