Is the one sold by shipped and sold by Amazon authentic?** A: I just received and it has a black cap. I’ve been using this for 15 plus years I think. Never had a black cap. Thinking it’s fake and sending back. **Q: Is this better than Biosilk?** A: It's very similar to Biosilk (same company - Farouk), but as others have mentioned, it doesn't contain alcohol as a top ingredient, so is probably a bit better for hair heath. **Q: So this is good whether you straighten your hair or leave it curly? Can you use it in wet and dry hair? Fly away frizzies?** A: I mainly use this on damp hair bc my hair is wavy. But I've used a smaller amount on dry hair to tame flyaways too. It's a great product on straight or curly hair. I've used it and recommended it for over 10 years, since I was given a sample myself. I never stopped buying it after that. You will lobe how soft it makes your hair, curly or straight. Wet or dry. It's not greasy either, but gives a beautiful natural shine to your hair. You only need like a dime to quarter size drop depending on your hair length and thickness. So a bottle last a long time. **Q: I have never purchased Chi products. Do they have a strong fragrence? If so, what is the fragerence like?** A: Yes, Chi Silk Infusion does have a fairly strong, distinct (unisex, leaning towards masculine) cologne fragrance.
