They work quite well in blocking extra light otherwise normally entering between you and the eyecups... just needed to get use the new feeling of the wings. Eyeglass viewing is still possible by folding down the flaps. Well made, easy on, and good fitment. The description repeatedly states: "Compact Size fits 1.10 to 1.46 dia eyecup" If an attempt was made to stretch them to the limit they would likely fail immediately or perhaps in a few days as others have noted. The eye cups received are clearly not the ones described. Warehouse mixup? Unknown, but they will be returned.
