This notebook is exactly what I was looking for! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for 1st graders learning how to neaten up their handwriting *by T***M on December 18, 2012* I like this book because the lines are large enough for them to practice writing neat and straight, but not overly large that it takes them a long time to complete a sentence.The standard size ruling is just too small for 1st graders learning how to write their manuscript letters. Kids that age need more room to practice their fine motor skills. The dashed line in the middle is a good guide/reminder for them how to size their lower-case letters versus upper-case letters.The only drawback is cover. It is not hard enough. But I make sure my daughter is always working on a flat, hard surface for proper support.Good price and good product.
