When I first put the sensor in it was awesome, a great savings or so I thought. Unfortunately the sensor only lasted about 6 months. Like many of the other reviews, the temp was reading extremely high and the solar would not turn on. The original sensor lasted about 8 years. This one barely made it 6 months. If you figure that your time to install it is worth anything, the Jandy sensor is worth the extra $20. This was a huge disappointment, and waste of time and money.
