So far I worn this at a 6 mile race and a 5 mile race both in low 40 degree NYC weather (with a warm base layer underneath) and I felt very warm but comfortable. I would recommend this jacket if you are running in below 40 degrees. My only complaint is that the pockets are not as deep. It did however hold my Iphone 6 which is a big plus.. I usually wear a Medium but in this I needed a large. It was still fitted, but had a little room for me to swing my arms when I run.
