Well, this one has a few additional features which I really appreciate. I've owned a few USB hubs previous to my Rosonway. They also worked as advertised, but I commonly found that most of them were so light-weight that once peripherals like gamepads were plugged in, the entire hub would often move around and would also require double-sided mounting tape or velcro to stay in place. Not the Rosonway, though. It's build quality is heavy enough that it stays in-place without modification. I also really appreciate the activation buttons near each port. It gets tiresome having to unplug hard drives and peripherals to keep platforms from recognizing unnecessary devices, which can also lead to port and plug wear. I can keep all of my hard drives plugged in and decide which one gets detected with each device session. My one and only gripe is the nearly proprietary USB3 cable the Rosonway requires to interface with platforms. If there's no reason to use proprietary cabling, I really don't appreciate it when manufacturers opt to anyhow. That means if you happen to have kids or pets that are rough on electronics, chances are you'll be ordering new cables directly from the manufacturer; and in a few years, that may not even be an option. Who cares, though?
