Review: Awesome axles - Great product, perfect fit these are for the traxxis wide max. If purchased don’t forget to buy the 17mm nuts the stock ones will not fit, recommend buying the 17mm wheel nut wrench. I did not and had to use needle nose pliers and scratched them. If purchased don’t forget to buy the 17mm nuts the stock ones will not fit, recommend buying the 17mm wheel nut wrench. I did not and had to use needle nose pliers and scratched them. Way stronger than stock and easy to install ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth the money *by K***R on May 15, 2026* great upgrade easy to fit ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As durable as you'd hope *by S***T on August 18, 2024* I was breaking the OEM drive shafts EVERY TIME I went bashing. I think I went through 6 shafts before I decided to bitebthe bullet and buy the good ones everyone was recommending. I wasn't doing anything too crazy, but the 4S 120C 10,000 maH battery I was using delivers too much torque for the OEM driveshafts. After several weeks, I've been thoroughly satisfied with this upgrade. You MUST get 17mm wheel nuts with this upgrade. They dont fit with the small OEM nuts. Be sure to get the right 17mm wheel nuts, too. The ones in the pic were the wrong set for the Maxx (perhaps they're for the Stampede?). I had to re-order. Great purchase. Spend the cash. You'll save in the long run. ## Frequently Bought Together - Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx Assembled Steel CV Driveshaft Set - Traxxas X-Maxx Blue-Anodized Wheel Nuts - Traxxas 8654R Aluminum 17mm Splined Wheel Hubs, Red --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ae/products/183626408-maxx-widemaxx-assembled-steel-cv-driveshaft-set](https://www.desertcart.ae/products/183626408-maxx-widemaxx-assembled-steel-cv-driveshaft-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Arab Emirates* *Store origin: AE* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
