## Overview

The Silverstone Tek 140mm x 38mm Fan is engineered for high efficiency cooling, featuring a dual mode operation that allows users to switch between power and quiet modes, ensuring optimal performance while minimizing noise. Its long-life dual ball bearing motor and innovative giant-bladed design make it a reliable choice for both CPU coolers and computer cases.

## Description

The FHP141 is an exceptionally high performing 140mm fan designed for cooling CPU heatsinks. It has steeply raked fan blades thanks to its thick, 38mm profile, which enables the FHP141 to achieve not only high airflow but very high air pressure for its size. An integrated switch provides users with the option of running the fan in either power mode (500 ~ 2000rpm) or quiet mode (500 ~ 1200rpm) via PWM fan headers.

Review: Great case fan with plenty of static Pressure - Remember 140mm fans were made to be quieter 120mm fans. That's why a lot of 140mm fans come with screw mounts that fit 120mm. This fan is by far the best bang for your dollar. Yes the fan is loud but only if you put it on high, other wise, the fan is moderately loud while still moving a ton of air. The side of the fan has a Low or High switch that can manually be toggled. Just remember that this fan is 38mm wide, some tights spots will not allow this fan to fit. No gripes about the fan, it does come with rubber mounts and the standard metal screws. If you are looking for plenty of static pressure and don't mind the extra DBs, this is for you.
Review: Great airflow - I bought one of these to replace the 120mm a/c fan in a small air hockey table that wasn't moving enough air to lift the puck. This fan made a significant improvement in performance. Additionally, despite what some of the other reviews here say, this fan is actually quite quiet. At 170 cubic feet of air per minute, this moves far more air than the incredibly loud a/c fan that I pulled out of the air hockey table while making less noise than most of the fans in my PC. When testing it out before putting it in the table, I was impressed to the point that I actually just bought another one of these fans for my computer. For comparison, this fan moves up to 170 cubic feet of air per minute. I couldn't find a single other 140mm fan anywhere online that reached 125 CFM.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Some Fat Fans Boi
*by J***. on August 6, 2016*

They are great fans, but since they're a little thicker you might have some compatibility issues with some cases. Also it has 120mm mounting holes but comes with adapters. The adapters help out, but trying to get these to mount on the 280mm rad was pretty time consuming because the adapters don't fit very well on the rad so, and you'll need to purchase some shorter radiator screws to mount them. so they're not very ideal for watercooling. They also have a switch for power or quiet mode. This switch feature was odd however because somehow the settings designated by the switch positions were somehow flipped so the fans saw much more performance on quiet mode than performance mode. Quiet mode is pretty quiet, it runs at around 1300 rpm on this setting, and around 2000 rpm on performance mode. Noise level seems very subjective to me but they're pretty quiet compared to other things in my house that overpower these fans. On either setting the fans move a lot of air and keep my CPU (6700k) around 23 Celsius at idle. The most ideal setup would be to run the fans on the CPU header/s at performance mode and any case fans on quiet mode.
