I believe this book will be consumed in little bits over a long time and then re-read and re-read. The pages are quality paper. The print is a good size, and easy to read. And the pictures are glossy, lovely, some are large covering the whole page, showing the detail of the brush strokes. I look forward to reading what looks to be a well documented historical account of Van Gogh's life, there is great documentation of his family as well. I know I will sit for hours soaking up the artwork. I'm so glad I finally splurged and bought it. I'm thankful for the flash sale.
