    Not made right, returning, not the typical Dan Post quality

I have many Dan Post boots and am crazy about them. However these, made in China, are horrible. The side gave me a blister as the interior juts into my ankle bone, turning the boot into a form of torture. The interior is not smoothed out correctly, having seams in strange places.Additionally, I usually get the pointed toe Western boots in 8.5, and this square toe was a smidge too short, for another level of discomfort.Very difficult to find real farmer quality work boots for women. [this is Dennis' wife writing this review] So I was very disappointed that these did not work out. I need good boots for mucking around in the country, avoiding snakes and ticks and mud and whatever... Men's shoes don't have the narrower heel that women have, and wearing heavy socks in the summer to 'make' the fit work does not appeal to me.The boot is a great idea, I like the way it laces, good tread [oil proof, slip resistant, 'self cleaning' whatever that means], great cushioned insole, leather parts...and even importantly waterproofed, but unfortunately very poor execution.[received as a gift]Darn it.
