The Skill Attack is the perfect individual volleyball training tool with a ball release point of over 5 ft., not from floor level like other volleyball machines. This small, agile unit can easily and quickly be rolled anywhere on the court or in your backyard or garage. It offers a full range of spins to deliver every type of drill including serves with either sharp downspins or breaking floaters; accurate and consistent soft sets with no spin at any angle and height; and digging drills from the same side of the net with power and accuracy. The Skill Attack will support the following drills: Serves: A full range of spins is provided, throwing both sharp top spins and breaking floaters to simulate match situations. The machine can also be easily rolled along the serving baseline, changing the angle of serves. Spiking: The Skill Attack training machine is great for digging drills on the same side of the net. Setting: Rapid reps with varying intervals will meet the requirements of any setting drill. Accurate and consistent soft sets with no spin are provided at any angle and height. Review: Great!! - This has a high school and grade school settings. Great topspin and okay floaters. For floaters, you might have to move the machine a little closer to the net. Also, depending on the amount of air in your ball will depend on how far it gets launched. You just have to dial in your balls (haha) and finesse a bit to your liking. It has not cut any of our volleyballs, however, it might smudge the writtings on the balls. IMO, the balls are getting its use. Has made my daughter a better passer.

A: It’s a good machine and can be used for setting and serving. Lowest speed setting is 1 which would be barely coming out of the machine. It can be set to float, spin or go at any angle.

A: Amp draw is very low on this machine at 1.5 running amps and less than 5 starting amps

This has a high school and grade school settings. Great topspin and okay floaters. For floaters, you might have to move the machine a little closer to the net. Save your arm! Get this entry-level serving machine. Speed is not horribly fast, even at top setting. Good for up to HS seniors. Best part is the repeatability -- if the athlete handles a ball poorly, you can give tips, and then serve up the exact same serve and see how they improve. Great for giving them the needed repetitions. Does not scuff balls too bad, but you will see some wear stripes or light scuffs on the ball. Only 4 stars because this model does not have adjustable height.
